Register Your Interest

When you have read our Free Information Pack, we would like to have a chat with you. We'll then arrange an initial home visit by video call at a convenient time.

Home Visit

All of your questions will be answered during this informal meeting. If together we agree it's the right time to progress your application, we will organise a social distancing home visit and begin the assessment process.

Assessment & Training

Together we will complete a detailed profile about you and your family, your background and life experiences. At our mandatory two-day Skills to Foster Course (currently delivered by webinar), you will learn more about your new role as a foster carer, and meet staff, carers and other applicants.

Fostering Panel

You will meet with an independent group of professionals who review your information, talk with you and your assessor, and make a recommendation to the Agency Decision Maker.

Following your successful recommendation, our comprehensive matching process will ensure that the right child(ren) will be placed in your care.

About Credo Care

Credo Care was established in 2000 as the UK's first independent fostering agency specialising in the care of children with disabilities, complex medical needs and learning difficulties.

Our goals are to raise the standards of disability care for children, reduce the financial burden of long-term residential and hospice care on local authorities and to ensure that becoming a foster parent is a positive and rewarding experience for all of our carers.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
