Credo Care's Dream Making Initiative

You are here

A boy dreaming about being a Footballer.‘The Dream Making initiative stems from the idea that we can be doing more for our children and carers.’

In 2018, we launched our Dream Maker initiative, in the hopes of bringing ‘Wow’ moments to our foster children and their families by making dreams come true.

The initiative is part of our drive towards ‘Outstanding Plus’, which stems from the idea that we can be doing more for our children and carers.

A group of families with children with disabilities. We’re reaching out to anyone who can help deliver 'Wow' moments to our children.

Could you arrange a meeting with a child’s favourite singer? A tour of the stadium of a favourite team or a special box to watch them play? Can you provide specialist sensory events or equipment for children with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities)? Maybe you can source new gaming consoles, toys or playground equipment?

If yes to any of the above or if you've any other ideas or means to help, get in touch at and help us make some dreams come true!

About Credo Care

Credo Care was established in 2000 as the UK's first independent fostering agency specialising in the care of children with disabilities, complex medical needs and learning difficulties.

Our goals are to raise the standards of disability care for children, reduce the financial burden of long-term residential and hospice care on local authorities and to ensure that becoming a foster parent is a positive and rewarding experience for all of our carers.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
