Congratulations to our Chairman, The Right Revd Damien Mead, who has received very special international recognition and award for his charitable and philanthropic works, and for the provision of foster care for disabled children.
On February 23rd, 2022 he was awarded the highest honour bestowed by the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the United States of America. The Governor of Kentucky, Andy Beshear, commissioned him, Honourable Damien Mead, Kentucky Colonel and aide-de-camp to the Governor.
Commenting on the award Damien said: “I am so grateful for the nomination and humbled that my efforts should be so recognised. Of course, many other people have worked so hard to make my hopes and aspirations move closer to becoming a reality. This is especially true for the disabled children who have been in the care of my agency, in helping them to thrive and prosper. I am thankful to all of those involved for their dedication and devotion and for sharing the vision of what can be achieved.
