Credo Care Chairman elected Bishop
On Saturday 29th March 2008 the Very Revd Damien Mead, Co-Founder, Chairman and CE Director of Credo Care, was elected to become the next Bishop of the Church to which he belongs. The Anglican Catholic Church, which is an international body, established the Diocese of the United Kingdom in 1992. Fr Mead who is currently Vicar General (senior priest). Update 3rd July 2008 : the ratification of his election by the Archbishop and College of Bishops of the ACC has now been confirmed and Fr Mead will be Consecrated in due course. His role within Credo Care will remain unaffected. The Board of Directors, Management and staff of the Company wish Father Damien every success in his new position.
